Tamika's Story

Getting to know me...

I have been a professional photographer for over 21 years. I started at Olan Mills as an appointment taker, and photographed a few of the easier sessions since I was pregnant. After the birth of my daughter, I went on to work for several years at Kmart Portrait Studio and then went on to Sears Portrait studio. After Sears, I worked for Lifetouch National School Studios.

After years of working for other companies, I decided to step out on Faith and start my own business so i can have more freedom over the portraits that i photograph. In July of 2010, I photographed my first wedding with the help of a friend. This wedding party had 25 members and I unknowingly had mono. After that, I have photographed a numerous number of weddings, events, families and seniors.

Anyone that I photograph becomes a member of the Creating Lasting Memories Photography Family. I treat my customers like they are members of my family, and all of them become friends beyond the photography.

My mission is Create Portraits that my customers can look back on in 50 years, and be able to tell a story. My mission is to Create Memories for my customers that will last a lifetime. My mission is to give exemplary service to everyone that comes in front of my camera.
